BSc. Human Resource Management

The BSc Human Resource Management programme gives students a chance to research and investigate a variety of fundamental ideas and techniques relating to the theory, ethics, and practices of human resource management. The programme's goals are to:

  • Provide a thorough examination of human resource management utilising a combination of sociological, psychological, political, and economic theories.
  • Present the foundations of managing people coupled with sector-specific organisational functions.
  • Help people comprehend and become aware of human resource management's current challenges in the contemporary econom
  • Encourage and promote the development of various practical and transferable interpersonal, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

 

Admission Requirements

  • West Africa Senior School Certificate,
    • At least six (6) credits (A1 - C6) in WASSCE in three Core subjects (English Language, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies) and three elective subjects from Business, General Arts, Visual Arts, General Science, Home Economics, and Agriculture with a total aggregate of 36 or better.
  • General Certificate of Education (Ordinary and Advanced Levels),
  • International Baccalaureate (IB), IGCSE, GCSE, the American Grade 12 and 13 examinations and other external qualifications which have equivalences to the SSSCE or the WASSCE,
  • Candidates in possession of a diploma from the University for Development Studies or its equivalent,
  • Mature students: candidates (aged at least 25 years) who have duly passed the University’s mature students’ examinations.
